13th ENDA Congress – Build It, Live It, Share It

Dear colleagues and dear friends , after congress overview .
We have achieved a lot on 13th ENDA congress. It was intensive three days.
Productive, fruitful and wonderful and with nice social programs.
During congress, we have shared a common goal and vision that leadership and management in nursing is worth seeing as sharing, living and building nursing together, which was the motto of this congress.
I hope that when you come home you will ask yourself the question how you, yourself can contribute towards that.
I am sure we all can.
Sharing and implementing some of the ideas that you will take from here,
from the 13th ENDA congress
My personal message to you would be:
“We have to be like a bird
–the bird that author Victor Hugo once observed –
the bird that pauses in its flight awhile,
on boughs too light, –
on a branch that is likely to break–
feels that branch breaks,
yet sings,
knowing she has wings.”
I’d like to take this opportunity to say something on behalf of myself, I would like to express my gratitude to my colleagues and the administration staff who did their best in preparing this congress and making it possible.
My gratitude also goes to Iris Meyenburg-Altwarg the president of ENDA and Jacqui Flinkins for all what they do for us, support, mentorship and kindness.
I would like also to express my gratitude to Pamela Thompson for her altruistic care for nurses in Croatia. I hope that we will continue this long time partnership.
Thank you so much my collegues from Croatia: Branka, Marija, Josipa, Biserka, Marina and Zvonimir
I really appreciate your help, your enthusiastic work and I have to say I am so proud to have you all with me in this project.
It was very hard work, I can say today and couldn’t have been possible without the people I just mentioned.
There Is one more person that contributed to organising this congress, Miss Ana Skolan from Convectus Credo
Dear Ana, thank you so much for your patience, thank you so much for your hard work, thank you so much for great collaboration.
It will be a very nice and pleasant memory for me.
Once again, I would like to say a big thank you all to of you,
My hat off to all of you.
I hope that you enjoyed, that our intention to be a boutique congress full of partnership, empathy and positive vibrations has been achieved.
I hope you find it has been a good quality event.
I hope we will meet again on some nurses´ congress in the future,

Rosana Svetić Čišić
President of Organisational committee 13th ENDA congress
